Final Logo

I didn’t have much to imagine from my sketch because I am not the best artist but I hope after seeing my draft you can see my idea come to life. My logo draft is a silhouette of myself from a photo I took a while back on my iPhone 11. I figured there was no better way to represent a blog that is about myself than with a picture of me. I didn’t do any research for my logo, I just took my initial idea from my sketch and ran with it. I made a few adjustments and tweaks to get my draft. My draft was created on adobe illustrator. I started by tracing my body, then I drew my clothing and hair (freehanded). I debated back and forth on whether or not I wanted to put in all the details. I decided on something a little simpler. With that being said I did not include the details of my face or my clothing, almost to have a somewhat color blocking effect to it. The circle acts as a background/foreground to make the image almost pop.

Of course for the final logo I made some changes. To start I cleaned up any rough edges , and fixed the top of my hair. I added some light facial features just to make it a little more alive-ish. I added the name of my blog and changed my shirt color. Im pretty happy with the turnout.
