Final College
Creating mood boards (trend and inspiration boards) is one of my favorite things to do. Not only is it a huge part of my industry as a fashion major but also its become something I like to do to release any creative energy. My creative process is never the same but for this specific assignment it was easier for me to get my point across due to the fact that my blog is about me. This photo collage is a quick look into the kind of content you will see on my blog. I used the color red as almost base color, not only because Valentine’s day is right around the corner but also red is my favorite color. When I was younger I use to call it my “power” color.
It represents me well. I mixed a more relax images with some feisty images to embody a bit of my personality according to my friends. As well as images of me, these are raw and not edited too much, just because I wanted the photos of me to be more organic looking. That way they would stand out more on top of the red background. I also included different images that embody where I am in my life right now.
My collage was created in Photoshop . All of the images I used I edited in Photoshop myself. I start any collage with a basic collage template to see the way the photos fit together .Personally I did not do too much to change any of the images in the photos. I re-colored the shoes in the image in the top right corner but other than that I did a lot of resizing, reshaping, and layering images.
After some revisions I have achieved a final collage that I am happy with. I removed two images to reduce any “clutter”in the collage. My goal is for the background images to act as a background not what the eye is drawn too. By removing these images and adding a few effects to the photos , I think this final collage looks better.

What are we doing here ?
Hi everyone. Jasmen Gordon loading… started back in early 2018 with the name glowy and radiant, an amateur blog I started in my college dorm room my sophmore year. After some personal growth and some freelancing for other websites, I decided to rebrand and start fresh. It’s as if it were a sign, I find out for class I need to create a personal blog. It was the perfect opportunity to launch my new website.
This blog is dedicated to everyday lifestyle. Here you can find just about anything I am loving; recipes, college tips, and of course fashion/beauty. I will also be reviewing products, generating some fun lists and sharing my experiences with you all. Basically its your go-to source on all things jazzy.
I am so inspired to build the life I want to live, and that is something I want to share with everyone. And I felt that a lifestyle blog would be a great topic that really encompasses it all. Not to mention I enjoy sharing the little and not so little things that make life much more exciting!
Most of my photos will be captured on my Iphone 11 and or my boyfriend’s camera (I believe it is a Nikon if your wondering).
